Helium Mobile App Overview
Helium Mobile App Overview
Updated over a month ago

View and manage your Helium Mobile account from the Helium Mobile App, available on iOS and Android (compatible with most devices that support iOS 14 and newer and Android 11 and newer). The Homepage contains an overview of your account subscription. Here you can view your basic subscription information and access all the other aspect of your account.

Account Info & Notifications

You can access your personal profile by tapping on your initials in the upper left corner. Under your profile, you can manage your Account and Billing information. Tap the notification bell in the upper right to view any in-app notifications that have been sent your way.

Account:

The Account tab allows you to update your account's email address, reset your password, and update your home/billing/e911 addresses. This is also where you can locate your associated Solana wallet address and public referral name. You can toggle the Show Phone number to see the number associated with your account.

In the SIM Settings section, you can tap SIM Setup to resume setting up your SIM for the first time (note that if you need a new SIM, you'll need to contact support as they can't be transferred or re-added if deleted). The Dynamic Coverage Setup will also reinstall the WiFi certificate needed to automatically roam onto Helium Mobile Hotspots.

Billing:

The Billing tab allows you to update your credit card on file, use Pay with Crypto to pay for your subscription with MOBILE tokens (or other tokens on the Solana blockchain), and view your billing history to download any past invoices. If you have an available balance of credits that will go towards your subscription costs (such as referral credits or MOBILE Pay credits) those will be displayed in the Total Credit section. You can also cancel your plan if ever needed.

Referrals:

By tapping the Referrals button on the Homepage, you can view the total credit earned from the Refer-a-Friend program, copy and paste your referral code, and view your referral statistics.

The Manage SIM button will return you to the SIM setup flow, if it has not been completed. If you do need a new SIM for any reason (lost phone, factory reset, etc) this wont work since the SIMs are only able to be installed once...in that case, please email or chat the Support team and we can help get you a new SIM.

Wallet:

The Wallet tab is where you can view and interact with your Token balances and see any Badges that you've earned along the way (Subscriber badges are automatically added to your wallet when you sign up!). You can also claim any rewards earned from Discovery Mapping, view your token transfer history, transfer MOBILE and SOL tokens (as well as any other Solana supported token), and adjust which Solana tokens display in the app.

Mapping:

The Mapping tab is where you control participation in Discover Mapping. You can enable/disable Mapping, as well as view your Feed, which shows current progress on the days mappings as well as any earnings and eligibility for previous days.

Group Plans:

Want to invite friends or family to your plan? You can consolidate Billing for up to 7 additional lines (8, including yours) by sending out email invites.

Data Boost:

Looking for more high-speed data to get you through to next month? You can now top-up as you go! Purchase up to 15GB at a time ($7.50/GB + tax) right from the app.

International Roaming:

Heading out of the U.S.? You can purchase the International Roaming add-on at any point!

.hi:

Your .hi name is your secure web3 identity. Your name can be used as an identity to replace your long, complex wallet addresses into an easy-to-read format. Reserving a name is not required!

Limits:

  • No special characters

  • Minimum of 3 characters is required.

  • Names cannot be transferred at this time.

Note, reserving a name does not guarantee you this name. This name does not have a function at this time. Stay tuned for more details!

Usage:

Check out your current usage stats to get an idea of how much data you've used, texts sent, and minutes talked!

Store:

With the Subscriber Store, you can use MOBILE tokens earned from Discovery Mapping (or acquired elsewhere) to purchase a variety of products, including Google Pixel phones - while supplies last - and Helium Mobile Hotspots.

Settings:

The Settings tab is where you can find policy information, locate support articles, open up a chat with the support team, copy your Solana address, as well as set up and manage your security settings. Most importantly you can switch the app from Light mode to Dark mode. The app version is also listed at the bottom of this section, which can be useful for the support team if you run into any issues.
