New and existing subscribers can now pay for their subscription using crypto.

For new subscribers making a payment, simply click the "Pay with Crypto" tab. You will be prompted to connect your wallet. New subscriptions can only pay for an Annual Plan. If your wallet does not show as Detected, be sure you have the proper browser extension installed.

Once you've submitted your payment, we will create your account. This can take a few minutes, so keep an eye on your email for next steps.

For existing subscribers, you may "Pay with Crypto" on a monthly or an annual plan. Simply navigate to the "Billing" tab of your account, tap "Pay with Crypto", and follow the in-app instructions. Once payment is accepted your next bill will be paid with crypto.

Remember:

  • Support will never ask for your 12 or 24 words, or to connect to your wallet directly.

  • Before connecting a wallet, verify the url is the correct and intended one (look for misspelling, extra periods, etc.) If anything looks off, please contact support through support.hellohelium.com

  • Don't follow links sent on discord, especially through a DM. Go directly through the intended site.

Here are some frequently asked questions about crypto payments:


What tokens are accepted for crypto payments?

Our payment processor accepts all tokens verified on Jupiter.


I'm already subscribed. Can I switch my payment method to crypto?

Yes! You can do this from the Billing tab or Wallet tab in your Helium Mobile app. Learn more here.


How do I invite people to a Group Plan if I pay with crypto?

This feature is not available yet, but is coming soon.


I'm having trouble getting my wallet to connect to pay. What should I do?

Make sure you have your ad blocker disabled and the proper browser extension installed for your wallet. If you are still having trouble, chat with our support team.


What happens if I decide to cancel my account before renewal date?

You can cancel you plan and port out your phone number at any time. Please note that crypto payments are non-refundable, even if you cancel prior to your renewal date.


Can I use crypto to pay monthly?

Yes, existing subscribers may choose to pay with crypto on a monthly basis or for an annual plan.


Can I use this feature in the Helium Mobile app?

Existing subscribers can convert to a crypto annual or monthly plan from the Helium Mobile App (learn more here). For new subscribers Pay with Crypto is only available on the web with the appropriate wallet browser extensions installed.


Can I use Pay with Crypto on my overdue account?

Pay with Crypto payments can only be applied to an active and up-to-date account. It is not able to be used to sign up or for accounts that are overdue. For overdue accounts, once the current invoice is paid from the credit card on file, a crypto payment can be made for the next invoice.
