Starting January 27, 2026 we are retiring the $5 Beta and $20 Unlimited Plans for all subscribers. Any subscribers who are still on $5 Beta or $20 Unlimited Plans by that date will be automatically switched to the Air Plan.
The Air Plan offers 10GB of data and unlimited talk and text.
$5 Beta subscribers will receive $10 in account credit if they are automatically switched to the Air Plan on January 27 to ease the price transition.
All subscribers switched on January 27 will also receive 1GB of complimentary data boost

Action is not required if you are happy to be switched to the Air Plan on January 27.
If you wish to take advantage of the current switching promotion, you will need to switch to Zero, Air, or Infinity no later than January 26. As a reminder, if you switch under this promo you receive:
Air or Infinity: 50% off your place price for 1 year, plus $50 in Cloud Points
Zero: 1 year of unlimited talk and text for free ($60 value), plus $10 in Cloud Points

Yes! You can choose Zero or Infinity Plan anytime prior to January 27. If you forget to switch prior, you can always change your plan after the fact.

If you do not wish to continue as a Helium Mobile subscriber due to these changes, or for any other reason, you can cancel your plan from your account on the Helium Mobile App without penalty. Your account will cancel at the end of your current billing cycle.

The following message is about your $5 Beta Plan or $20 Unlimited plan. No impact on helium Hotspots.
Transition to Zero, Air, or Infinity by January 27.
We’re incredibly grateful for the subscribers who joined our mission during the early days of Helium Mobile. These $5 Beta and $20 plans were early-access offers that helped us test, learn, and grow Helium Mobile into the nationwide service that it is today.
To stay true to our mission of affordable connectivity for all, we’re bringing those early subscribers onto the Helium Mobile plans built for today, Zero, Air, and Infinity, so we can continue offering some of the most affordable phone plans in the country for the long-term.
Beginning January 27, 2026, the early-access $5 and $20 plans will no longer be supported on Helium Mobile. Prior to this date, the following exclusive promotions are available to choose from, right within the Helium Mobile App:
Switch to Air or Infinity Plans: 50% for an entire year, PLUS $50 in Cloud Points
Switch to Zero Plan: 3GB of data, unlimited talk and text (normally 300 texts, 100 minutes of calls), PLUS $10 in Cloud Points.
You can switch plans in your account on the Helium Mobile app.
Any $5 or $20 subscriber who has NOT selected a Zero, Air, or Infinity Plan by January 27 (or cancelled their plan entirely) will be automatically transitioned to the $15/mo Air Plan, which includes 10GB of data, unlimited talk and text. Helium Mobile will issue a one-time, $10 credit to the accounts of all $5 Beta subscribers to be applied to to their bill.
Any active crypto pre-payments will be credited to your account and applied to future invoices.
Your Options
If you do not wish to continue service under these updated terms, you may cancel your plan at any time before January 27 with no penalty.
You can change your plan by logging into your account in the Helium Mobile App. Again, please note that promotions are being offered within the Helium Mobile App to those who switch their plans to Zero, Air, or Infinity before January 27, 2026.
