Keeping an eye on your data usage can help you avoid overages and get the most out of your plan. Here's how to check it on iOS and Android.
iOS
iOS tracks your cumulative cellular data usage. To measure usage over a specific period (like your billing cycle), reset your statistics at the start of that period.
Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data, depending on your iOS version)
Scroll to the bottom and tap Reset Statistics
From that point on, view your usage anytime at Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Usage
Android
Google Pixel:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet
Tap SIMs and select your SIM
Tap App data usage to see consumption for your current period. Tap within the graph to view daily usage.
Samsung and other Android devices:
Go to Settings > Connections
Tap Data usage
Tap Mobile data usage to see consumption for your current period. Tap within the graph to view daily usage.
