You can move your Helium Mobile service to a new phone directly in the app using SIM Manager in Settings. This is available on app version 3.17.0 and higher.

You’ll briefly lose service while the switch completes. This usually takes less than 1 minute.

  • Make sure you’re logged into the Helium Mobile app on your new device (the device you want to move service to)

  • Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Your phone number stays the same

  • You may switch SIMs once every 6 months

Groups

  • Group Members can switch their own SIM by logging into their member account.

  • A Group Admin of a Kids Plan can switch the SIM of their child's account by logging into the Kids Plan Account.

How to Switch SIMs

  1. Open the Helium Mobile app on your new phone

  2. Tap Manage Account

  3. Select SIM Manager

  4. Follow the prompts to choose your SIM option
